An update on what has been happening at MP HQ!

So since the start of 2017, I have been a busy bee! Not just with making my enamel jewellery but I have a load of builders at my house and so it has been a little chaotic. The good news is that I will have a lovely new workroom which I will gladly show some pictures of next time I blog!  So with all this going on, I decided after much thought that I would take some of my creations and expand on a few of my designs. Up until now I have just made..stuff! A Customer Request

I recently had a request from a wonderful customer that was a little different for me. I was asked to make her a hair barrette in copper for her up and coming wedding day. The spec I was given was It had to be made in copper Preferably shiny. The shape of a wishbone - as these hold a special meaning Forget-me-not flowers had to feature somewhere A hair barrette that would stay put!  Don't PANIC!!! I decided initially that I would probably mold it from copper clay, however, on reflection, this was not going to work as it was going to be too heavy to stay put, once it was fired. Colourful Stud Earrings Are Perfect for Holidays!

  I am on a mission to make more stud earrings....I love my studs - I love them so much I am hard pressed to wear anything else! Being a maker of enamel jewellery I am always trying to find ways to make stud earrings that are a little different to what is already out there. You also know that hearts feature a lot in my designs and I thought this may be a good place to start. So I made some sterling silver heart studs that are so dinky and teeny weeny they would work for anyone.
